Medical checks are being carried out at the scene of the Thames plane landing by ambulance crews from Essex.
The first passengers of flight US132 have been brought ashore on life rafts by RNLI.
The plane consisted of 42 passengers and 6 crew members, with everyone being accounted for.
Only two passengers are being treated for minor injuries.
